New term

Thank Goodness we are back online! I have missed looking at all your lovely inspiring blogs! Back at school, 3rd week in now, so life returning to normal after my wonderful holiday. More about that in future posts. Some of my friends have new offices at school, so some little decorations were in order.

For Shani, courtesy of a Mollie Makes freebie. I put some lavender buds in with the stuffing, Shani's favourite! She is crazy about tiny dogs, and has her own, sweet little Teddy, a long haired Chihuahua.

Hello Lovely Readers! We came back from holiday to find no Internet and no telephone line functioning at home, and we are still waiting for the broadband provider to send an engineer to identify the problem, fix the problem and bring us back into the 21st Century!
I am sending this from school, but can't add any pics, and can't comment on your blogs, so when all is back to normal I shall have a wonderful time reading many weeks' worth of your posts and can catch up with you then. Hope it won't be too long . . . . . . .

Doors

The doorways in Northern France are a wonderful example of iron work. Even before Sean was a Blacksmith, I have always loved wrought iron. I remember we had some on the glass door of the porch at home.

Eurostar awayday to Lille

I love hopping over to Lille for the day; it's less than an hour and a half, I can have a whole day in France and be back home by 10pm.

 

There is a Metro, but I prefer to walk around as you can see more. Lots of 'looking up, looking down' (Thanks, Rinda, I borrowed the phrase from you!)
