...and London Underground grinds to a halt! It took me 2 1/2 hours to come back from a concert in Swiss Cottage last night, as the tube train 'couldn't pick up the current from the rails because of the cold'. Just about made it home before midnight - all quiet and white.
Today was a fair bit warmer, so the snow is starting to thaw, audibly - you can hear it creaking! There's rain forecast for tomorrow, so I enjoyed it whilst I could, in my new shiny black Wellingtons.
It hasn't snowed in my neck of the woods yet, so I've enjoyed seeing your photos! Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog post last week. It meant a lot to read your kind words. Em x
ReplyDeleteThe girls are very jelous, Milli said to me yesterday can we go to England today, when she saw the snow on the news, bless. I also have some new black wellies, thats weird, it has rained so much this summer, glad its not too hot but I hate it when it rains all the time, everything is "dank"
ReplyDeleteHi Sky-blu-pink (with green spots?), that's what we always said when I was a little girl in Wales, many, many years ago. If you want some more snow, I'll send you some from Canada. We always get loads but this year it has been quite mild in comparison with other years. Love your wellies. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris
