Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to everyone! Beautiful sunshine, beautiful service at church, lots of chocolate and a nice peaceful day.

I made some Easter muffins this morning for the occasion.

Bunny Family wishes you a Happy Easter too! Mummy and Daddy Bunny were presents, and I found the children in the supermarket!

Good Friday

Another glorious sunny day today! Arthur is with us for Easter, and Leonora sent for both Mummie and I a mug from Tiffany's - very dainty. I enjoyed a cup of tea and a hot cross bun (on the proper day, even though we've been eating them for a while already).

                                               Enjoy the sunny long weekend!

Spring colour

Lovely warm day today - first time no jacket required when venturing out!

Let's hope it lasts!

Hearts

This house is full of love! Fairy lights surrounding a willow heart in the window, and another welcoming you on the threshold.

I wonder who lives here? Surely a peaceful and harmonious family!

Free Gift!

I have just subscribed to a new craft magazine, and this was the free gift they offered as an incentive (worked for me, as usual!). And I'm always keen to expand my collection of little suitcases......

Delightfully entitled 'Sewing toys of yesterday', and even more inside.......

Easter holidays soon, so I can get busy making. Lovely and sunny today; hope it lasts!

Look up....

So many times we rush by and don't notice unexpectedly beautiful things. I was in the City today, and have seen these half-timbered houses which make up the Staple Inn at Chancery Lane before, and wondered how they managed to survive the Great Fire and the Blitz when most around them didn't, but found these gems as well.

I looked this one up - it's The Tennis Player by Sir Eduardo Paolozzi, but I thought he might be playing an instrument at first.

Spring has sprung!

A lovely day for Mothering Sunday! We went down to see Mummie, and the journey through the forest was beautiful - all the gorse was out. Everywhere there are signs of Spring! Enjoy this sunny weather while it lasts.
Our fruit trees are covered in blossom, so lets hope it's a good year for apples, pears, plums and cherries. Our limes are doing well on the windowsill, too, so fingers crossed!
