Pretty Finds

I had a good haul at the charity shop this weekend. I can justify taking home with me little things that don't take up too much room, if they whisper my name!

A little French Arcopal ramekin, and a polka-dot ceramic cupcake case, which will become a candle for a Christmas gift.

This lovely Coalport teaplate, circa 1910. in beautiful condition for being more than 100 years old.

And pretty fabric, which will become a couple of bags.

  2. It is amazing how long some ceramics can survive - I always wonder how that Ming Dynasty dog bowl didn't get smashed years before! The cupcake case will make a great candle, I wonder what on earth is was supposed to be for otherwise?

  7. I love the little French ramekin especially - it looks a bit like the 70s pyrex I keep my eye out for!
