Building my collections

I have been lucky recently in charity shops with pretty cups and saucers to add to my collection. These coffee cups found in Winchester's Naomi House Hospice shop are so subtly decorated.

I love their delicate pattern. The Cath Kidston teatowel was a gift from Mairéad for helping her make a summer skirt (More about that in a later post . . .)

This wintery print is so pretty. From Winchester's Cancer Research shop.

And as luck would have it, in my favourite local shop a matching jug and plate, just 2 days later!

On the same day, this lovely gilded cup and saucer.

And because I can't resist her!

And in Morrison's sale, brand spanking new for a change, some more modern everyday tableware.

  6. Oh my I love these! My mom and myself have an obsession with teacups and mugs. I gave her a cup with my uni's logo when I graduated and she loved it! :)

  7. Wish I had yr teacup collection for the wedding, I want some for the vintage refreshment table, but fear I have left it too late to start looking, all the ones I see are pretty pricey!! x
